The Indira Holiday Home School today done online craft activity through an online class in which the students make paper doll with help of their parents and parents sent the pictures of the dolls prepared by their kids .
This is in continuation of various activities that the school has done during the lockdown period.

The Indira Holiday Home School today celebrated International Family Day through an online activity in which the parents sent the photographs of their kids depicting their family tree.
This is I continuation of various activities that the school has done during the lockdown period.
Mrs. Ravinder Kaur, principal of the school, said on this occasion that this activity, as had been the other activities carried out by the school during lockdown period, have proved beyond doubt that the family is the first school and parents the first teacher of a child.
She expressed her gratitude towards the parents in keeping the learning of kids going during lockdown period.

The healthcare workers have been working 24×7 to fight the COVID 19 pandemic. To acknowledge their service to humanity, the Indira Holiday Home today, on the occasion of International Nurse Day, organised an online activity with kids. The kids shared their pics with their mothers who are part of this profession.

The principal,  Mrs Ravinder Kaur said on the  occasion that we don’t have words to acknowledge the contribution of health care workers towards our Society. However, with the help of parents, we have made this humble effort.

As mother has always played a special role in each of our lives. Their unconditional love, support and feeling of a security around us is unmatched. Keeping this in mind Indira holiday home preparetory school, Chandigarh organized an online Mother’s Day activity with kids,which was celebrated enthusiastically by the tiny tots with the support of their mothers.
They perpared posters , beautiful cards and did various activities at home with the help of their mothers as a gesture to say THANKS to their mothers,which were their after shared online.
The principal Mrs. Ravinder kaur gave the message on this occasion that one day is not enough to acknowledge the gratitude of a mother, however such small gestures from kids can feel them being acknowledged for all they have been doing. She further thanked the parents for participating in making such online activities a success.

The kids prepared posters, drawings, collage etc at their homes on the topic and sent them online on a WhatsApp group created for the convenience of parents.

This is an initiative of the school to promote environment awareness amongst the kids from their very childhood and to convey the message that learning should not stop even when they are confined to their homes.

The school is continuing its teaching online due to lockdown on account of COVID 19 and even the parents are cooperating in their best possible way so that learning of the kids can continue uninterrupted.
